Below is a table of approximate charges for some of the most frequently requested
restoration work, however, it is difficult to assess a patient's needs accurately without actually seeing it in the 'fur'.
When Bears are sent for an examination you will be given a written fixed-price quote, which will include
the cost of any materials needed.
No work will commence until the quote has been approved and a 10% deposit paid.
Should you decide not to go ahead with the restoration, your bear will be returned to you on receipt of the cost of return
postage. For security, it is recommended that postal patients are sent by registered mail.
On completion of the job, an invoice will be issued, which will include the cost of return
postage.
Payment will then be due within 30 days. If full payment is not received
and no explanation is forthcoming, then unfortunately ownership of the bear will transfer to the Cornwall Teddy Bear Hospital
and may be sold to cover costs.
As we have a long waiting list, all patients MUST be booked in prior
to sending.
